My dear friend Mandy and I worked on this painting this week. She found a large canvas on the side of the road that could handle some T-L-C. So that's what we did. Veranda magazine is a resource I browse through for ideas, this was one of them. The painting may still have a touch here and there, but she took it home yesterday to hang and see. It was the first time either of us had dabbled with silver leaf. The torn pages are from a hymnal. What?? Nobody uses those anymore right? Honestly, the music on the pages and the book is timeless.
