The sheer fact that I have a wonderfully hand-crafted flower pinned to my scarf should give-away my current state-of-mind. This little girl moves and stretches at her leisure and has grown like a little dandelion weed. I can't wait to see her precious face. And on another note, every first time expecting mom should consider the joys of being "fed" baby food-YUCK!
My dear and precious friends hosted an amazing baby shower over the weekend
There wasn't a moment I didn't look around the room and see someone I loved and admired.

We are digging in our heels around here and constantly cleaning, planning, occasionally
drifting into deep thought dreaming about this baby girl (ok, alot of drifting) and checking and double-checking the "to-do" list. Becoming a mom is still an overwhelming thought and I pray daily for wisdom, strength, and understanding in starting this daunting task. Our family verse for her is taken from
"For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands."
So after privatizing and de-privatizing my blog (my husband said it made even invited readers create a profile?) I've decided to ask the great wide world out there that reads my blog, what first time mom advice do you have?
