Christmas Time Upon Us

This morning a sweet email brought a huge smile to my face. My grandma-in-love(she invented this, no in-laws) bought livestock for (2) families in Sudan this year for Christmas. Of the portions, ducks were bought on our behalf for a Christmas gift. The livestock contributes towards commerce, food, and farming skills. It reminded me how turning these thoughts into actions (to give to the poor), make it a reality and bless our own spirits. Now I'm inspired to find a way to make it a tradition in our family. We're also going to gift a family in Sudan on their behalf. What a sweet and unexpected gift! These are the gifts that change lives and sear your memory with what truly counts during this season.
