The first hand towel, not as bright as I had hoped for, but nonetheless a humble start to my sewing ventures. I love mixing the idea of applique and machine, and would like to try my hand at design with skirts, tops, and perhaps a summer dress. My next project, an apron, I can't wait. Yesterday I bought the fabric(s), trim, and ribbon at Hancocks, all for the low, low price of $6.82. That's the Memorial Day special, most everything is half price. Yes!
