Ok..so I sweepingly passed by the Country Living while in line at the grocery store, upon waiting ...which usually I do purposely so I can look through magazines I never buy. Well, this looked like a good one, with a lot of gardening, recipes, and crafts, so it came home with me. I glanced over this artist's craft and knew it was exactly what I wanted to do for my friend who dog-sat for me last week during my vacation. Hopefully she doesn't follow my blog, or this will be no suprise. But look, these stones become beautiful, ornate paperwieghts, or just lovely peices to place in a bowl on your table. They seem to be a perfect blend of spring, easter, and art, rolled into one. I can't wait to try this out ! P.s. -this also has sent me into a frenzy about knot-tying, embroidery, and the like...crochet anyone?
