While working as an artist at the Junior Leaugue's annual "The Market", I came across this lovely Alabama designer. She titles herself Alabama Chanin, complete with handmade stitching,stencils, and free patterns. I bought my first sewing book, and when I met the designer, she gladly signed my copy. I can't wait to begin reading about the stories behind her inspiration, attempt some of these great designs, and learn to be more artfully at home.
