tis the season'

It's truly here! Christmas... lit stars line the boulevard, homes are covered with tiny lights, carols and classics on the radio. We discuss advent every week leading up to Christmas at church. The advent season of Christmas is new to me, at least within the past two years "new". Remembering that Christ came is one thing, imagining His return to us is another. Throughout the past few weeks I've been challenged by our advent readings from church. Not only are we celebrating God sending our Savior, but seeking and praying for the day Christ will return. It puts the eternal perspective, the looking forward aspect into Christmas. I hope to remember that the vision of Christ in a manger is amazing, was unexpected, and full of wonder & awe. How much more to envision Him reigning here as King. Return Lord Jesus !
