On Lent

You may like hearing these (2) very short snippets about experiencing Lent season, I did. A friend challenged my recently in our discussion on Lent. All I can remember is that it went like this, Me: "are you celebrating lent?" and the reply : ,"not really, shouldn't repenting and remembering, and even giving up things be something we as Christians are always doing or wrestling with...I mean I guess it's good to do?"
