Looking Forward

Gardening ! Last year my older sister Jennifer started a small business on a whim called the "Pocket Gardener". She started filling up small entryways and corridors at resturaunts and small shops on Sullivan Island, SC where she lives...she's the one of us three sisters that took the adventure to go live in a cottage on the beach, an island in Charleston, SC. So when she came to visit me during the summer we created a raised garden bed and planed tomatoes, cucumbers, okra, and herbs. It was so much walking out the back door, off the porch to pick tomatoes to eat. That was all that survived after my then (as in past) dog trampled it. A sweet friend took the year old puppy for a companion to her dog. It worked out well! So this year I'm going to try it again and see if I can start sustaining a vegetable and herb garden, maybe blueberries as well.Are you gardening this year?
